A late winter snowfall blankets the Columbia River Gorge and a warm glow radiates from behind the tall ridges of the gorge. I love shooting these intimate scenes as you have way more ability to create an image that is unique to you, the photographer.
Really happy to have made it out here as the conditions were spectacular all the way down the Gorge, and this was also the last time I was able to get out with my bud John Perach before The Great Pause went into effect, so it was all the more special. After hanging out a bit we headed up into the Giff for a little off trail waterfall action, and caught a great winter wonderland scene here.
