A wild vortex energy swirled above Bell Rock in Sedona for only a few moments before the sun fell below the horizon and the skies cleared.
This image was made on on first big photography road trip in the Winter of 2017, a splendid time to visit the desert south west. Temperatures were moderate and the crowds were amazingly slim driving from Las Vegas through Utah and onto Tucson; I learned a lot about myself and how to capture desert scenes on the two weeks I was on the road.
