Water droplets form a nourishing bond with a clover on the forest floor of Caper Perpetua in central Oregon. This image is a great example of why you should pay attention to your surroundings, as I would have walked past this intimate scene otherwise.
I was really drawn to how the light broke up in the just enough to highlight the clover but create some mood and depth around it. Processing deep greens like this is always a struggle for me, and this image took a passes to get it right balancing saturation and luminosity of the greens and yellows.
